NewGen is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator with the following skills and an active TS/SCI with polygraph.  

Required Technologies/Tools

• Experience with Linux platform support such as RHEL, or CentOS
• Linux platform administrative support, including management and troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft platform support and administrative support, including management and troubleshooting
• Applying upgrades and patches to operating system and applications software and maintain records of all software version levels
• Vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies
• HPE firmware patching for stand-alone chassis and Synergy blade chassis
• Maintaining server and equipment rooms and perform server checklist

Desired Technologies/Tools

• Experience with automation via scripting such as Bash or PowerShell
• Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
• Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
• Cisco Catalyst products
• Experience with SOLR
• Experience with Hadoop
• Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL
• Dell/EMC Unity storage
