NewGen is seeking a Storage Administrator seeking to grow further in their career.

100% onsite required in Fort Meade, MD

Active TS/SCI + Poly Required

• Server Experience along with some networking experience
• Knowledge of deploying new hardware (server storage, networking, etc.)
• System Admin experience

Manage Essentials and VMWare Skillsets
Assist the customer with the intricacies of the new infrastructure during the transition to the new technologies into their production environment.

• Assisting the customer with the transitional responsibilities related to the post-implementation management, migration support, and knowledge transfer to support the solution environment.
• Sharing ownership of transitional responsibility for the solution migration, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, provisioning, and service level alignments.
• Assisting with the solution documentation of policies and procedures in conjunction with the compliance manager(s) and with other key stakeholders.
• Providing knowledge transfer of best practices to address the Customer's skills and resource gaps, to ensure successful implementation of the Customer's new technologies
