Sr. Business Developer

Washington DC Metro Area, VA
NewGen Technologies is an IT Services provider with a 20+ year history specializing in Government Contracting.   We’re seeking a technology-centric Sr. Business Developer that can secure new business and drive the growth of our Technology Services and IT Staffing capabilities.  The ideal person will be able to formalize our sales process and lead our Business Development team. 

NewGen will offer a handsome base salary, aggressive commissions and a share in the profitability of the business unit. 

Key Responsibilities/Attributes:
  • Must Reside in the Washington DC Metro Area
  • 5+ years’ BD/Sales experience in Federal/DoD/Intel Space
  • Formalize our sales organization, define our sales approach, select prospecting tools, create marketing strategies, identify industry events to attend and build a team. 
  • Thorough understanding of Federal Government contracting 
  • Effectively build, manage, and continually develop a sales pipeline to achieve targets.
  • Participate in sales, positioning, and strategy discussions with company leadership.
  • Facilitate prospective customers’ understanding of NewGen capabilities and help identify solution offerings that will meet their needs.
  • Lead pricing and positioning strategies for new and existing clients.
