Requirements

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with 20 year’s experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and, complexity. 4 years of additional general engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Multi-discipline background including both hardware and software product development
• Ability to objectively assess possible architectural limitations or shortcomings in such areas as scaling, speed, and throughput
• Knowledge of internal workings of Ethernet switch ASICs
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications and routing protocols
• Experience supporting system and software architecture development, requirements analysis, design, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools and test integration
• Proficiency in Linux
• Experience working with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4/6, etc.
• Familiarity with Python, C/C++ code development, shell scripting, and test and configuration management tools
• Understanding/background in programmable switch technology

Desired Skills

• Proficiency with Arista EOS, MPLS, Multicast, and Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Experience with test automation tools such as Jenkins, SoapUI
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Kibana and Grafana
• Knowledge of SIGINT system end-to-end data flow and components
