This position is for the Application Administrator for OPIS maintenance and enhancement. The Application Admin will be an integral part of the effort to maintain, migrate data, and enhance the current OPIS system.

This role is mixed remote within CONUS. The PoP will be primarily in contractor-provided facilities with the expectation of regular meetings at Government facilities in the National Capital Region.

The candidate should have the following experience/expertise:

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, procedures, and service records.
• Data Management: Perform data validation, normalization, and backups
• Ensure where appropriate incidents are escalated to the appropriate teams, management, or service providers according to established procedures
• Experience with SAFe Agile software delivery methodology
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex, technical information in an understandable manner
• Ability to logically troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and present suggested solutions clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain software applications and servers
• User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups to ensure secure access
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary support contact, diagnosing and resolving application errors, often acting as a bridge between users and vendors
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance, review logs, and ensure system integrity

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• 10+ IT Systems administration, maintenance, backups, upgrades and patching of our existing Business Systems software and server’s footprint
• 10+ years Ensure the smooth operation of business systems by addressing and troubleshooting technical issues related to software applications and server infrastructure
• 7+ Contribute to establishment, maintenance and improvement of various knowledge base and procedures & policies
• 7+ Act on system security events and violations
• Backup and recovery planned and unplanned
• User management, and internal audits in accordance with security policies
• CompTIA Security+ certification, CompTIA A+ certification

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Alfresco
• Experience and knowledge working with Windows and Linux
